The Deadliest Animals on Earth – Ranked

Do you know which animals are the deadliest to humans? You might be surprised! Some of them may lurk in your own backyard. Check-out this countdown of the most deadly creatures on the planet.

#7 Bees – kill 50 people per year

For most people, the little insect known as the bee is pretty harmless: if you get stung, you’ll suffer from a little discomfort and then you can simply go on with your life.

However, if you are allergic to bee venom, this is on a whole new level and you could very likely be one of the 50 people who die every year from a simple bee sting! Luckily, if you carry around an epi pen and somebody administers a high dose of adrenaline to you after being stung, you may just survive! Take care out there!

#8 Deer – kill 130 people per year

The sweet, doe-eyed little deer certainly does not look like a people killer, well not intentionally anyway. The deer is not a very skillful hunter and therefore preys on other animals’ food. They do not enjoy hunting on their own, due to lack of skill.

If they are starving, in a predicament and have no option, they will be forced to hunt for anything they can find- and this includes any human in their path. Their horns make them good killers: however their victims will not experience an easy death. So, if you see a deer looking for a meal: stay away!

#9 African Cape Buffalo – kill 200 people per year

In Africa and Asia, buffalos are not respected as the dangerous animals they are because people have become so accustomed to seeing them roaming around: and besides, they only eat plants, don’t they? Wrong! Provoke an African Cape Buffalo and they will angrily charge you and severely (or even fatally) injure you with their strong and sharp horns.

Most people also do not know that these exceptionally dangerous animals cause the most deaths to human beings in Africa. So, if you happen to find yourself any where near Africa, do yourself a favor and stay away from the African Cape Buffalo which kills around 200 people every year!
