With renewable energy (in particular, air and wind) being used more and more, we are seeing wind turbines popping up all over the place. There is, therefore, a need for technicians to repair and maintain these turbines. 

A Wind Turbine Service Technician has been trained to maintain wind turbines and to prevent any malfunctions from occurring. A Wind Turbine Service Technician will routinely visit wind farms, inspect the wind turbines, address any problems there may be and make any necessary repairs. 

No specific training is required for this job but an engineering qualification usually does help.
