To survive any global disaster, you must prepare to have the following survival items to ensure your safety and that of your loved ones.

#26 Sandbags

Yes, you read it right. I’m asking you to have sandbags in your disaster supplies, and if not thousands then at least hundreds of them. 

Fill them and build walls around the place where you are taking refuge. Even if they cannot stop the water or monsters from reaching you, they can at least slow down their progress.

You can stockpile empty bags, and fill them when the demand is there. Having them is half the battle.
