The driver must have accidentally taken the wrong route. He was probably meeting his angry girlfriend. Only an angry woman can cause you to make such huge mistakes. Sorry guy! You just took the wrong shortcut and this is going to cost you much more than losing your girlfriend!!!
I think you already lost your job so she is going to leave you anyway. Now you have to face unemployment and an end to your love life all at the same time.
