#4 Horses – kill 20 people per year

If you have never been horse riding before and have a phobia about it, don’t worry, your fears are not unfounded because although horses appear to be gentle creatures who have an affinity with humans, they are capable of killing up to 20 of us every year! Quite surprising when they don’t eat meat!
This fatality rate is probably due to the fact that horses are prone to kicking, swaying and leaping up into the air when they are nervous and afraid, leading to people falling off and getting injured or dying. So, whatever you do, always wear your helmet and don’t frighten your horse!
#5 Leopards – kill 25 people per year

Leopards are best known for their incredibly beautiful markings and spots and for lazing around in the sun or camouflaged in trees. While we all know that they are a feline predator, people don’t usually think of them as being a people killer.
Unfortunately, it is a wise idea to steer clear of this big cat as it will consider any form of prey as food when it is hungry: even a human being, albeit as a last resort. If you see one, rather admire it from afar, take a photograph and move on- unless you want to become dinner!
#6 Ants – kill 30 people per year

No one would ever think that the small and humble ant could be a predator and have the power to kill close to 30 people in a year!
When you consider the Fire, Siafu, bullet or Driver ant, you would need to rethink your opinion on these tiny creatures! Ants work in large groups, converge on their victim, bite the skin and then inject their toxic venom which many not be lethal in some cases, but can be overwhelmingly painful.
The bullet ant’s sting is actually considered to be the most painful insect sting in the world. Large groups of ants even have the power to tear down an entire house!
