The tiny desert peninsula country of Qatar is an arid nation and thus requires extensive irrigation. It is no surprise then that they make use of tightly packed and round irrigation systems. 

An aerial picture over a large region of the country has revealed an irrigation system that together, creepily looks like a giant seahorse.

What does this symbolize? Has this been done on purpose or is it just by accident that the irrigation systems were formed in this way? We’ll probably never know for sure!
