Another area in the world that makes use of circular irrigation systems is the American state of Nevada. A particularly extensive system is owned by the Eureka County Public Works. 

Here, when viewed from above with the use of Google Earth, this bright green irrigation system looks like a starving Pac-Man!

Was the department trying to play a joke and having some fun? Is this merely a coincidence? Or is this something more sinister? No one actually knows!
