In number one spot is the tiny mosquito! Ironically it is the tiniest creature out of all the creatures listed but definitely the deadliest, killing a staggering 1 million people a year. How does it do this? By infecting people with Malaria, dengue fever, encephalitis and yellow fever.
Sadly, in the breeding season these dangerous creatures can be found in endless numbers and are most prevalent in the poorest parts of the world, namely Sub-Saharan Africa where access to quality medical care is limited.
Anti-Malarian drugs are available to people traveling to these countries but for people living here, there is not much hope but to try and keep away from these tiny disease-carrying insects as much as possible.
