#11 ParaNorman – 2012
This blockbuster 2012 3-D stop motion film was made in the spirit of Wallace and Gromit with several miniature figures being used. The movie is very technologically advanced in that the mini figures used have all been printed on 3-D technology: a first for the movie industry.
Although they are 3-D printed figures, they look quite realistic and really cute, too! What’s more, they are all painstakingly moved around by hand from scene to scene, but you would never know it! “ParaNorman” is also the work of an incredibly well-done miniature film set.
