Many people wonder why the Vatican Secret Archives are off-limits to the general public. The Vatican states that the reason is simple: it’s because their technology is really old-fashioned.
However, people who love a good conspiracy theory don’t believe them and say they’re hiding something. Why, then would they allow anyone to view any document of your choosing, as long as it is older than 75 years? Who knows?
