Heaven for Doomsday Preppers!
Ever watched a movie where the president has a need to escape to a top secret bunker for protection? Well, Mount Weather is supposedly that exact bunker should disaster (or apocalypse!) occur!
Unfortunately, not much is known about Mount Weather except for a single interview by TIME magazine with one of its former engineers.
Mount Weather is conveniently situated only 48 miles outside of Washington DC so it is not that far for the president and his family (along with a few top government officials) to travel to should disaster occur.
