Is this a joke or are we really being attacked by aliens having hair like this? Her hair doesn’t seem to quite fit in any human context.

You might imagine that she is Belle from Beauty and the Beast and this time around the spell has been cast on her thus giving her ‘beast hair’ or something like that.
